The first chair to be launched by recently formed studio Anthros was born from the desire to develop the most comfortable office chair on the market. Sharing its name with the new brand, the Anthros office chair was designed through science-based research into how sitting can be improved and supported through ergonomics.

The highly refined Anthros chair features a tapered upper back support (contoured laterally, it comfortably holds a supportive position and is flexible enough to allow for seated stretching), adjustable two-part back system, 4D arm supports and lower back and pelvis support. 

A built-in tilting mechanism reduces gravity pressure on the body while in a neutral seated posture, while the seat height adjustment and provided footrest for those 5’6” and under enable parallel leg position and optimal foot support. 

A non-swivel option for the four-spoke base prevents feet and casters from colliding and adds refinement to the overall aesthetic.
