An elegant refresh of Berner’s classic main entrance air curtain shape, the Berner Architectural Icon Air Curtain features a low-key, versatile design, with improved performance and seamlessly integrated digital controls.
As with all air curtain models in the Berner Architectural Collection, these units are quiet, technologically advanced, and beautifully designed, while saving energy and supporting healthy, comfortable environments.
The Architectural Icon Air Curtain for main entrances is AMCA certified and meets the vestibule exception in ASHRAE 90.1 and 189.1, IgCC, IECC, and other energy codes and standards.
The clear satin anodized aluminum cover matches typical commercial door mullions, transoms and framing. Optional stainless steel and custom colors are available for the cabinet to support the interior design and feel of the space.
Available in single lengths ranging from 30” to 12’, the Architectural Icon ships fully assembled. Berner air curtains are simple to install, operate and maintain. Specifications, drawings, revit files, and more can be found on our website.
The built-in digital control technology, a.k.a. the Intelliswitch, elegantly replaces a number of clunky components necessary to provide flexibility in operation. One also has the option of including the Berner AIR – the smart control and app that includes BACnet capabilities, allowing one to program and monitor the air curtain from a smart phone, as opposed to from a ladder.
