Delivering a big impact in a small frame, the Bitsi chair by Los Angeles-based design firm EARL is a recent addition to the bent steel-tube seating collection from North American furniture-maker Division Twelve.

Intended for small spaces, the chair is outfitted with an upholstered seat and curved backrest that work together to create a super-comfortable spot, whether in an office, library, canteen, hospitality setting or elsewhere.

The foam cushions contain bio-based ingredients and, as with all of the brand’s collections, Bitsi is BIFMA Level 1 certified and Indoor Air Quality certified (at the Indoor Advantage Gold level).

Made from a sustainable mix of pre- and post-consumer materials, the petite seat is offered as a café chair and in two stool heights (counter and bar); all three can be powder-coated (using an eco-friendly process that limits VOC emissions) in more than 20 eye-catching colourways.
