Stuttgart-based studio jehs+laub designed the playful Bonh Lume for Davis Furniture as a versatile and sophisticated element to enhance corporate or hospitality environments.

Following in the vein of the duo’s Bonh planter – a cascading design that places geometrically shaped plant pots at varying heights – the new Bonh Lume from Davis Furniture combines a floor lamp with two nesting side tables to offer both illumination and display in a concise and handsome silhouette.

The sleek floor lamp of Bonh Lume features a slender stem that rises upwards to hold the lamp’s perforated and powder-coated steel shade (that is paired with a white plastic light diffuser liner) while also integrating seamlessly with the structural base of the two side tables. Offered in a left- or right-hand orientation, the floor lamp/side table can be introduced as a convenient and clever accent to nearly any interior.

A number of powder-coated colourways are available for Bonh Lume’s tubular steel base, with either black or grey nylon glides: Anthracite, Beige Arizona, Blu Fes, Blue Sky, Bronze, Burgundy, Cacao Orinoco, Champagne, Dark Green, Grigio Antrim, Grigio Bromo, London Grey, Light Anthracite, Light Bronze, Light Tan, Matte Black, Moss, Mustard, Rossa Jaipur, Verde Comodoro, Verde Kitami, Sand, Steel, Teal and Terracotta have black glides; and Fog, Grigio Efeso, Ice, Ivory, Light Grey, Light Sage, Light Tan, Matte Silver, Matte White, Mid Grey, Rosa and Stone have grey glides.

The tabletops of Bonh Lume from Davis Furniture are made with an MDF core and a veneer, Fenix or laminate top surface; both the range of sold colour laminates and the Natural Ash, Finnish Oak and Formal Walnut wood grain laminates will have matching ABS edge bands (other wood grain options will have a self-edge); and all Fenix top surfaces are edge banded with a matching ABS edge band.

With both ambient lighting and accessible surface space for storage or display, the Bonh Lume is both style statement and functional element.
