Barcelona-based architectural hardware manufacturer Viefe has released the Brooklyn and Hinoki series, two of many new collections for 2025.

The Brooklyn and Hinoki hardware collections are being introduced along with others under the Power of Balance concept, a multi-fold collection of handles and knobs inspired by the Japanese concept of Ma, a philosophy and aesthetic principle that values the “creative power of empty space or the pause between objects.”

With the Brooklyn series of pull handles and knobs by Danish studio Steffensen & Würtz, the design-forward Viefe presents a versatile and adaptable piece suitable for a wide variety of interior settings. Inspired by contemporary urban architecture, the aluminum pieces blend architectural purity with elegance and a minimalist appeal, with vertical lines in the structure lending industrial texture.

The Brooklyn collection includes multiple sizes for kitchen cupboards and appliances, bathrooms and furniture; single-sided and back-to-back mounting systems are offered. Available finishes include polished nickel, brushed black, titanium black, brushed bronze and brushed brass cava.

For the Hinoki collection, Spanish designer Alexis Vivet celebrates the purity and timelessness of the Hinoki cypress tree, treasured and respected in Japan for generations. Each crafted from a single piece of solid oak, the graceful handles reference the balanced beauty of Eastern design with harmonious proportions, intentional angles and a meticulously measured design.

Defined by a gentle curve at each end that is reminiscent of the wooden roofs of temples in Nara, Japan, the Hinoki collection from Viefe is offered in a range of sizes ideal for everything from small furniture pieces to large wardrobe doors. Available in three finishes: raw, oak and walnut.

Other new releases in the Power of Balance collection include the aluminum Milano and an expansion to the Luv Wood series.
