Named for the flowering plant that inspired the series, French designer Mickaël Koska’s Cactus LED table lamps emphasize symmetry and structure: clusters of borosilicate glass in differing heights are cinched together with steel cuffs to form illuminating sculptures.
Adding to the effect, bubbles and streaks that result from the production process lend individuality to each piece. The ribbed surfaces create a soft illumination and highlight both clear lines and shadows.
The lamps are available in two sizes (with a pendant version soon to be released) and in transparent or smoke-grey glass.
