The new Cala chair collection from Sandler Seating (part of the brand’s made-in-Italy Milano collection), is a thorough and comprehensive offering that includes a wide range of iterations. 

The seats and backs of Cala are made from recycled plastic or polypropylene (certified by ReMade Italy, the first accredited certification to verify recycled product in Europe) that is 3D printed in a unique and intricate grid-like mesh design that includes a top, middle and bottom layer. 

The eco-sustainable seat boasts a clean-lined profile that can contribute to a modern aesthetic in a number of settings, from workspaces to hospitality, including indoors and outdoors. Enhancing its suitability for public spaces, the Cala chairs feature triangular joints that minimize dust accumulation when compared to the more commonplace square or circular alternatives. 

The Cala collection is available with or without armrests and leg options include a cantilever frame, a four-leg base (in wood or metal, both sustainably sourced) or casters; a four-seat bench is also available. 

Each version of the seat can be specified in a wide range of colourways and versions with solid plastic fronting the seat and backs are available (the backs still feature the signature mesh). A number of the Cala chairs are also stackable.
