The Dyson Solarcycle Morph Light is a precisely engineered intelligent light that adapts and transforms its output throughout the day. Intended to alleviate the effects of too much time indoors, the lamp tracks daylight and intuitively provides accurate lighting levels.
Meeting multiple needs, the multiple features of the Dyson Solarcycle Morph include supplying powerful and focused illumination as a talk light that reduces eye strain; casting indirect light for soft background light that enhances interiors; showcasing art and other decorative features with high-quality focused light; and creating a blue-reduced ambient light for more relaxed and soothing settings (in this mode, the fixture uses a magnetic sealing mechanism that channels illumination through an orange filer and perforated stem).
Equipped with motion and brightness sensors, Dyson Solarcycle Morph maintains a consist level of illumination that correlates to the time of day and also contributes to energy savings. A convenient app allows for total control of the fixture (which comes in floor and table/desk versions), allowing for preset modes that meet personal daily needs. Modes include Study, Precision, Relax and Wake-Up.
Other engineered features of the lamp are magnetic touch-glide docking that locks the optical head to the dock with a simple touch; slide-touch controls for dimming and colour temperature preferences; and an integrated USB-C charger for devices. Both the floor and table/desk versions are available in White / Silver or Black.
