The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Eden Collection Carnegie

For its new Eden collection, Carnegie took inspiration from the wild side of nature, with patterns evoking lush botanicals, layered terrains and vibrant ecosystems. Included in the collection are four upholstery options that effortlessly contribute to nature-driven interiors.

The four upholstery fabrics in the Eden collection from Carnegie are Alder, Cobble, Monaco and Plume, and each one delivers distinct colours, textures and patterns that are nuanced, rich and modern. Originally part of the brand’s Elements line, the four high-performance upholstery textiles add elegance without compromising durability.

Richly layered and visually energetic, Alder is a crushed velvet botanical pattern inspired by ferns, tropical plants and long-stemmed leaves. Expressing a lush and textural energy, Alder has a sophisticated yet untamed appearance that can read as both playful and calm. The 100 per cent polyester fabric is offered in nine colourways.

Woven with a bouclé yarn, Cobble features a uniquely cozy texture — both visually and physically. The tactile crosshatch surface introduces warmth and dimension to effectively soften both sculptural furnishings and rigid architectural lines. The 100 per cent polyester fabric is available in seven colourways.

Rendering a peony-inspired floral with painterly, hand-drawn detailing, Monaco has a lovely screen-printed or stamped effect. Suitable for use indoors and outdoors, the stylized pattern is complemented by a subtle textured finish. The fabric (made from a combination of Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic and polyester) is available in seven colourways.

A contemporary take on the classic fern motif, Plume amps up the drama with its scaled-up pattern, etched textures and unexpected colour combinations. The feather-like pattern is constructed with a woven structure that feels embroidered but is highly durable. Bridging old-world charm and modern sensibilities, the 100 per cent polyester is available in seven colours.

All four upholstery options in the Eden collection from Carnegie are thoughtfully designed to be free from harmful substances (antimicrobials, heavy metals, PFAs, formaldehyde, PVC and more) and contribute to the creation of healthier interior spaces. The collection also includes seven Xorel Luxe options for indoor/outdoor use, recycled PET wallcoverings and high-performance Type II PVC-free wallcoverings.
