EHDD Architecture designed the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington, to deliver its own sense of marine life. Fish scale–like metal tiles with a pearlized finish, Flat Lock by Pure + FreeForm are arranged in a vibrant mosaic of three colours: Aquamarine, Brushed Azure and Light Grey.
