With the Float modular sofa, Australian product designer Sarah Ellison reimagines a classic of 1970s swank and comfort – the sunken conversation pit.

Generously sized with deep seats and wide sloping armrests, the modular Float has a laid-back aesthetic ideal for relaxing and entertaining.

Detailed with extra-plush horizontal channel tufting, the bulbous and low-slung design has a heightened sense of comfort thanks to a combination of memory, high-density and medium density foams and can be upholstered in soft velvet or bouclé textiles. 

Offered in two-seater sofa and five-seater sectional versions, the Float modular sofa system is exclusive to DWR and can be specified in La Crème (a warm white bouclé), Fawn (a cool taupe grey velvet) or Piccolo, a rich chocolate brown velvet that Ellison developed specially for the collection.
