Expanding on its Foundation Collection, Artaic has added a curated selection of sintered glass mosaic tiles to its offerings. The new inclusions increase the collection’s capabilities, bringing the sustainable material to everything from kitchen backsplashes and powder rooms to commercial flooring in hospitality, healthcare, workspace and multi-family environments.
The new sintered glass mosaics are made from 100 per cent post-consumer recycled content — specifically, recycled car windshield glass, which offers superb durability and a richly diverse colour palette. Commercially rated and sustainable, the material is an ideal environmentally friendly choice for LEED certification without compromising performance.
Available in either a glossy or a frosted, sea glass-inspired finish, the sintered glass mosaics have a high DCOF rating for slip resistance and meet the requirements of high-traffic commercial flooring.
This expansion to the Foundation Collection is intended to make mosaic installations more accessible to a variety of projects no matter the budget. The additional options also make consistency across a design easier thanks to the availability of multiple colourways within one pattern.
Further, designers can specify the same motif for different locations, spaces or zones, making the Foundation Collection from Artaic an ideal choice for everything from wayfinding and pool decks to walls, floors and other applications. Patterns offered include classic stripes, checks, plaids, florals and geometrics.
