Milan-based designer Francesco Rota took a rational approach for his Hoyo sofa for Ariake, placing a thickly padded seat cushion atop a barely there base made from two cylindrical wood runners.
A curved arm cradles the backrest, providing a clean-lined, fuss-free seat.
