With its wide and generous seat, the Inyo seating family by Martin Brattrud makes a suitably comfortable addition to such public spaces as lobbies, welcome areas, lounges and others. Designed by North Carolina’s Alyssa Coletti, the series is defined by beautifully curved lines that are pleasing to the eye when approached from any direction.
Comprised of a lounge chair, sofa and backless bench, the semi-circular upholstered volumes are supported by an open tubular steel base that provides both stability and visual lightness.
Fastening the two elements together is a web of thick straps – in leather or fabric – that introduce subtle contrast and detailing.
Inyo is available in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers for the upholstery portions, with an option for material and colour mixing between the exterior and the interior. In addition, multiple powder-coat colourways are offered for the tube frame as well as stainless steel or hand-rubbed steel. All three pieces can be specified with the strapping detail or without for a more overall streamlined aesthetic.
