Responding to the need for flexible architectural lighting solutions in contemporary interiors, Italian architect Vittorio Massimo developed IVY, a minimal geometric system of pendants, for Lodes.

Composed of a die-cast zinc alloy ring and rubbery black cable, the fixture is available in two versions – IVY I, which is suspended from a single cable, and IVY V, which hangs from a double cable that forms a vee shape.

The first can be hung independently or with other single versions from one of the Italian lighting manufacturer multiple canopies; IVY V can also be used with the brand’s canopies that allow for six or 12 cables. Both can be set at different heights to create layered lighting installations.

The cable comes in black, while the rings come in one of three finishes – matte black, extra-matte champagne and terra (a warm brown with notes of orange and pink), which can be can be combined together on the canopies. The LED is embedded in a long and narrow slot in the ring and illuminates downward.
