Spanish designer Francesc Rifé referenced the work of Mark Rothko for this series of five abstract rugs for Now Carpets. Hand-tufted using 100 per cent bamboo silk, the geometric patterns are rooted in Abstract Expressionism, and are rendered in a mix warm, muddy and pastel tones.
