Inspired by Japanese minimalism, the new Kyoto kitchen from Corner is an expressive system made from natural materials and with soft, inviting shapes.
Balancing function with beauty, the Kyoto kitchen from Corner is based around its island – a central volume with rounded corners and fluid, organic lines. Clad in Dekton Grigio from Cosentino, the island has a stone-like presence enhanced by a soft yet compelling texture.
The same material is continued on the countertop and backsplash, creating a cohesive setting that is warm and inviting. A seamless Dekton sink is integrated into the counter and stone shelf runs along the wall, creating a unified look.
Cabinetry in the Kyoto kitchen from Corner is made from dark oak veneer with a deep-tone finish that highlights the pronounced natural graining, lending subtle sophistication. Slim wooden finger-pull handles – a nod to traditional Japanese carpentry – contribute to a clean-lined aesthetic while adding a note of authenticity.
A range of additional storage features are also available for integration that perfectly customize the Kyoto kitchen to suit individual wants and needs. Some options include a two-part recycling bin, pull-out shelving organizers for both high and base cabinets, deep drawers that can be fully pulled out for easy access and cleaning, cutlery trays, drawer plate holders, upper cabinet plate racks, spice racks, pull-out shelves for small appliances, an integrated in-counter phone charger and more.
Cabinetry elements that are offered for the Kyoto kitchen system include tall and lower cabinets that contain storage and can house built-in appliances (including Gaggenau, Miele and others) and a pantry that features open shelving and a corner appliance garage.
