Characterized by tailored detailing and a relaxed expression, the Marien152 collection by Coalesse has been bolstered by two new additions — a lounge chair and a stool — that increase its overall adaptability. Created in collaboration with Paris-based multidisciplinary artist and designer Arik Levy, the series is deliberately residential in appearance but robust enough for everyday use in work environments.

The series’ signature is its fixed back cushion that looks like a soft, loose throw pillow but offers structural support with built-in flexibility. Levy scaled the overall proportions of the Marien152 lounge chair to create an inviting perch in lounges, ancillary spaces, break-out zones and any other place that requires both a comfortable and focused environment. Each piece in the collection is offered in a range of upholstery fabrics and leathers, as well as in a selection of wood and metal frames.
