The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Maxi sliding panel system interior display with rug and shelf on white walls

Completely customizable, the Maxi Sliding Panel System by architect and designer Giuseppe Bavuso features sleek glass surfaces detailed with an irregular aluminum grid pattern; the combined individual glass panes and metal structure provide stability to the vertical volumes.

Equipped with Rimadesio’s patented sliding rail, the panels are perfectly level and move with absolute silence, even in large compositions. Maxi Sliding Panel can be customized in both materials and finishes: the wide range of glass options include varying levels of transparency, colour and pattern, while the aluminum can be finished in walnut, heat-treated oak, bronze, graphite, brown or black.

Produced using minimal waste, Maxi Sliding Panel is made from 100 per cent recyclable materials and can be fully disassembled at the end of its life. The panels can be made-to-measure up to 350 centimetres high and 200 centimetres wide.
