The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Combing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style, the new Mirage furnishings collection encompasses seating and tables to bring a unique personality to interior residential spaces.

The series is built around the Chaise Mirage, a 1950s Scandinavian inspired wooden armchair the blends function with sculptural elegance.

The chair’s base is made from Madagascar Movingui wood (blanched or stained), a species with a striking and undulating grain, which is contrasted textural by the black aniline leather upholstery.

In addition to the Chaise, the Mirage collection includes a sofa, chairs – available with or without arms – a dining table and a sideboard.

Unifying them all is a rich materials palette, from the grained wood to blackened nickel steel with a galvanic satin finish, open-pore acid-etched Kenya Black marble, glossy brushed polyester, waterproof Nubuck and leathers.
