The Mirasol outdoor rug by Milanese designer Paolo Zani for Italian rug-maker Warli was crafted with compelling textures and a refined palette of delicately contrasting colourways.
Made from 100 per cent polypropylene rope – which is fully recyclable – the Mirasol outdoor rug is handwoven by skilled artisans using traditional loom techniques. Offering a pleasingly tactile experience underfoot, the rugs will heighten warmth and create an inviting outdoor environment, in a subdued yet elegant way.
Expressing a fine attention to detail, a tactile cord overlay is paired with a flatweave base, creating a continuous textured expanse with strong graphic impact. The repeated raised-X pattern of the surface is made using mélange yarns that result in a subtly multi-hued rope that contrasts with the nuanced shades of the flatweave base.
The Mirasol outdoor rug by Paolo Zani is available in five easy-to-work-with colourways – Brown/Teal, Teal/Silver, Silver/Olive Green, Dark Green/Canvas and Terracotta/Light Brown. Each option introduces a dose of sophisticated tone to outdoor settings. Mirasol is offered in two standard sizes (200 x 300 and 300 x 400 cm) with the option for custom sizing also available.
As part of Warli’s Plein Sud collection of outdoor rugs, the Mirasol outdoor rug by Paolo Zani is suitable for use in both residential and commercial settings (both inside and outside) and provides a comfortable and quiet elegance while being highly durable – all rugs in the Plein Sud series have a high UV stability, are water repellent and can be stain-proofed and treated with an anti-mould finish. Areas of application include private homes, hospitality settings and, since it can withstand humid conditions, wellness areas like spas and saunas.
