A reissue of a 1973 design by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, the Monk chair from Molteni&C retains the original’s pared-back monastic character while introducing a solid wood frame (in American walnut, black oak or coffee oak) to support the leather back and seat; burnished steel rivets secure the material to the structure, enhancing the handcrafted quality.
