Founded by textile designer Amy Weisberg, California-based artisanal textile brand like.leigh takes a modern and minimalist approach to the traditional craft of hand-made fabrics. Based on original drawings and paintings, the screen-printed textiles bring a perfectly imperfect authenticity to interiors.

For her most recent New Moon collection, Weisberg drew inspiration from both her personal transition into motherhood and the ever-changing cycles of nature. The collection features four patterns – June, Poppy, Mara and Luna (each offered in three colourways) – that are printed on 100 per cent certified Belgian linen using eco-friendly dyes; like.leigh partnered with a small-batch artisanal screen printer to produce the made-to-order textiles in order to minimize waste.

An original take on the familiar plaid, June features hand-painted linear strokes that collide in a energizing way.

Poppy is an abstract reflection of the sun peeking over the horizon, with the hand-painted motifs capturing the quickly changing nature of daybreak and forming rhythmic stripes.

The rise and fall of tidal movements inspired the wave-like brushstrokes that form the dynamic swirls of Mara.

Luna nods to shifting lunar phases with hand-painted medallions that subtly alternate to create a pleasingly uniform repeat.
