Doing triple-duty as storage, separation and display, the clean-lined Nora shelving collection from Davis Furniture can be easily introduced into a wide array of corporate, commercial and hospitality environments. 

Conceived as an “opportunity for visual intrigue,” the shelving system took inspiration from the strong architectural lines of the brand’s Nora lounge collection and is comprised of a series of components that can be mixed and matched according to needs and styles. 

Bringing visual division to open-plan layouts, the versatile units have streamlined frames (offered in more than 30 powder-coated colours) and slender shelves in oak, walnut and ash veneers, powder-coated steel or Fenix materials. 

The Nora collection’s foundation is a set of simple aluminum extrusions and square connectors that can then be enhanced with a range of customizable spring-activated panels in horizontal or vertical orientations that provide privacy and an acoustic solution; material choices for the panels include powder-coated perforated metal or upholstered tackable surfaces. These panels can be installed on either side of the unit as well as the front and back, in continuous or alternating runs. 

Combined with the multiple size options offered, the adjustable panels allow for tailor-made storage and display solutions in offices, lobbies and open spaces. Nora can be specified with one, two or three shelves across and three to seven shelves high, creating everything from low console-like units to tall bookcases.
