The fixtures in the Pastello bathroom lighting collection pair hand-crafted ceramic and semi-opaque glass shades in a spectrum of pastel tones, with each colour revealing unique characteristics when illuminated — some become elegantly translucent while others take on a soft, matte finish.
Featuring 12 individual wall light styles in eleven ceramic colours, including signature colours from the brand’s Maya and Carnival collections, along with a newly developed Eggplant option, the Pastello bathroom lighting collection reimagines classic shapes and is detailed by delicately coloured rims, vintage plates and a mix of glass and ceramic materials.
Included in the collection is Tempo Siren, which pairs a rear medium-sized free-blown glass plate with a slip-cast ceramic dish; the Frida Mod, with 11 separate bone china elements that can be grouped in threes; the Hola Swivel and the Tutu Swivel, that position handmade slip-cast ceramic bowls or semi-opaque glass bowls, respectively, on swivelling metal arms (in five finishes).
The Pastello bathroom collection from Curiousa also includes Ciao Mod, with a right-angled metal arm (in five finishes) and a handmade slip-cast ceramic diffuser; the Vintage Ceramic Siren, that allows for mixing and matching of curated vintage ceramic back plates; the Bowl Mod, which features a sand-blasted glass shade and right-angled metal arm (in five finishes); and the Wavelet Mod, with two shapely blown-glass elements.
