Peacock lamp by Ex.t

The fourth collaboration between British designer Samuel Wilkinson and Italian bathroom brand Ex.t, the Peacock lamp series pays homage to the beauty of its namesake’s plumage. A specially crafted internal diffuser made from ribbed borosilicate glass casts a radial illumination that is reflected fan-like against the fixture’s outer smooth-glass cone.

Depending on the angle of view, the intensity of the diffused light differs, becoming more pronounced when observed straight-on and taking on a fractured quality when seen from the side. Specifically rated for the bathroom, the lamp uses a minimal amount of parts, each of which can be separated and recycled at end of life.

Ex.t’s Peacock is available as a pendant or wall lamp and both variants have the same inner component and black-metal cap (one full, one trimmed).
