Italian designer Andrea Crosetta has transformed the familiar ladder structure into a sleek and contemporary radiator and towel warmer. Exploiting the practicality of the archetypal shape, two vertical cylindrical poles are linked by horizontal rungs – or piolo – which are square-cut and grouped in threes to create an alternating rhythm of solids and voids.

Available in hydraulic or electric versions, the unit can be hung directly on a wall or configured with chromed metal feet to lean from floor to wall at a subtle angle.

Featuring high thermal performance and low energy consumption, the appliances makes for striking and efficient addition in any bathroom. Made from 100 per cent recyclable carbon steel, Piolo is offered standard in black or white and can be customized in more than 200 colourways.
