Originally designed by Philippe Starck in 2010, the Play side chair from Dedon marked the first collaboration between the designer and the renowned furniture brand. Now, new colours have been added to the collection.

Defined by sleek and simple lines, the Play side chair from Dedon is stackable and is made with a durable injection-moulded polypropylene frame and die-cast plastic seat; an optional die-cast backrest is also available.

Innovative for its merging of high-tech with hand-craft, the Play side chair is designed for longevity and can withstand the elements. Its stacking design also means it is easy to store, taking up little floor space when not in use. The chair is available with our without arms.

The four new colours that have been added to the options for the Play side chair from Dedon are Apline, Aqua, Cascade and Bluestone, and each has its own depth and character.

With each colour option, the crisp white frame remains the same and the handsome hues appear on the seat and backrest. The new colours shine a fresh light on the chair’s fun and inviting design.
The Play side chair from Dedon is suitable for use in private patios and balconies as well as in hospitality and commercial spaces like restaurants and cafes. A complementary bistro table is also included in the Play collection.
