The first collaboration between Valencia-based design studio MUT and Gan, the Ply series of hand-tufted rugs features almost hypnotic patterns in irregular shapes. Layers of tightly woven loops are left uncut to create a dense texture and a dynamic optical effect, one that shifts and changes depending on how light falls. 

Made from 100 per cent new wool with cotton backing, there are three versions available: Yellow, juxtaposing a circular end with a square one. 204 x 300 centimetres. 

Blue is similar in geometry to Yellow but thinner. 104 x 300 centimetres. 

And the circular Pink. 245 centimetres in diameter.
