Part of the summer collection of light fixtures released by Yellow Goat Design earlier this year, Poinciana takes inspiration from the flower it is named for, reimaging its flamboyant display of summer blooms into a show-stopping centrepiece to fill a variety of interior spaces. 

The Poinciana light fixture from Yellow Goat Design is composed of a series of digitally printed, heat-formed acrylic petals that are mounted on linear metal tubes, creating an installation with a sense of drama and movement. Each Poinciana fixture is made from six sets of two petals that are suspended from stainless steel coax cables. 

Directional LEDs affixed to the metal tubes illuminate the structure, with the curve of each individual petal reflecting and refracting the light in a compelling and elegant play of intensities. The Poinciana light fixture is fully dimmable for tailored scenarios and is equipped with a remote driver. 

Yellow Goat Design offers three colour variations for Poinciana – one bright and cheerful with purples, yellows and shades of orange; one subdued yet sophisticated with blues, browns and creams; and one similar to patinated metal – as well as the ability to customize each to perfectly suit and complement individual surroundings.
