Devised for public washrooms, the Radius Auspex faucet collection from The Splash Lab was inspired by the Golden Ratio and 30-degree geometry and emphasizes intuitive functionality with a sleekly minimal form.
Named for an auspex, an ancient Roman observer who interpreted the patterns and movements of birds, the collection responds to the way people naturally interact with the built environment. The design team developed the Radius Auspex collection after observing user movement and interaction patterns.
Defined by soft curves, slim proportions and restrained detailing, the Radius Auspex collection from The Splash Lab includes six faucet styles, both wall- and deck-mount options, in swan-neck, square-neck and straight profile silhouettes.
Through the team’s research, it was determined to integrate the Infrared (IR) sensor technology directly into the fixture, eliminating the need for external sensor housing and ensuring the installation is streamlined and free from unnecessary elements. The bezel-free sensor is positioned directly at the dispensing point and aligns naturally with hand movements for a highly responsive interaction.
The advanced proximity sensors help minimize water waste, while interchangeable aerator options support LEED-compliant flow rates and operational testing up to one million cycles. The ADA-compliant models are available in hardwire or battery-powered configurations.
Intended for use in hospitality venues, workspaces, retail settings, museums and transportation hubs, the Radius Auspex collection was designed to coordinate with the brand’s Radius collection of washroom fixtures and accessories (which include soap dispensers, grab bars, shelves, hooks, hand dryers and more) to provide comprehensive and cohesive applications.
The Radius Auspex collection from The Splash Lab is made from cast AISI304 stainless steel and available in six PVD finishes: Black, Brass, Bronze, Chrome, Copper and Satin.
