The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Developed as an alternative to rigid wall panels for medium- to high-traffic interiors, Rampart offers an abrasion-, impact- and scratch-resistant wall covering solution. Appropriate for use in a variety of scenarios, from education and corporate settings to hospitality and healthcare, the engineered 100-per-cent vinyl has added two new material-focused designs to the portfolio, Absolute and Belgrade.

With the lightweight look of natural linen, Absolute has an atmospheric, textile-like patterning that provides a sense of depth with cross-hatched layering. The palette of 12 colourways include shaded neutrals and bright tones, each giving subtle contrast to the plaid-like linework.

Mimicking smooth travertine stone, Belgrade features sand-like stippling in its pattern that uses several colours to achieve a textural repeat and complex layers. Consisting of 10 colourways that emulate stone, Belgrade draws influence from the popular architectural material.
