Designer Nani Marquina was inspired by the square and rectangular patterns that are commonly found in the pavement of public spaces.
By riffing on these familiar architectural motifs, Marquina developed this collection for her eponymous studio to be built around a primary combination, one that can be added to or taken away from to create different sizes.
Made from 100 per cent recycled PET (that is produced in India), each Tiles rug is hand-loomed using a Dhurrie technique, giving the hardwearing floor coverings a strong and firm weave. Easy to clean, the rugs also have durable thermal properties, meaning they are suitable for use outdoors as well as indoors.
Intended for use in residential spaces like kitchens and bathrooms as well as hallways, children’s rooms and terraces, the Tiles collection is offered in four colourways and three sizes.
