WRAP

Designed by Danish designer Henrik Pedersen, the WRAP collection by Gloster explores the intersection of comfort, craftsmanship and Scandinavian simplicity. The collection takes its name from its defining feature: a continuous woven seat and back that appears to gently drape over a solid teak frame, creating a form that feels both organic and reassuring.

At first glance, WRAP communicates softness and ease, but the collection is grounded in thoughtful engineering and material integrity. The frame is crafted from sustainably sourced teak, carefully selected and finished to highlight the warmth and durability of the natural wood. Over this frame rests a woven shell made from natural-look, weather-resistant fibre, available in Sorrel or Umber tones. The woven surface appears fluid and textile-like, yet it is engineered to withstand demanding outdoor environments while maintaining its tactile appeal.

Complementing the sculptural weave are slim yet supportive cushions designed specifically for outdoor performance. Upholstered in a wide range of all-weather fabrics, the cushions enhance comfort while preserving the light, architectural character of the chair. The result is seating that balances durability with a relaxed, inviting aesthetic suitable for both residential terraces and hospitality environments.

The WRAP collection includes both a lounge chair and a dining chair in two colourways, allowing the design language to flow seamlessly between dining and relaxation settings. The dining chair pairs naturally with Gloster’s teak dining tables, while the lounge chair offers generous proportions that encourage long conversations and slow afternoons outdoors.

Henrik Pedersen describes WRAP as a design that feels almost organic in its development. Soft materials fold and curve around a simple structure, echoing natural dynamics and creating a chair that feels intuitive and welcoming.

With its blend of handcrafted materials, Scandinavian restraint and relaxed comfort, WRAP reflects Gloster’s longstanding commitment to creating outdoor furniture that is both enduring and emotionally engaging.
