The large rooftop water tanks that have been an identifying characteristic of the New York skyline since the start of the 19th century informed the shape of Barcelona-based designer Joan Gaspar’s Zenc pendant lamp.

Seemingly made of metal, the traditional material of such storage tanks, the fixture’s textural shade is actually produced using rotomoulded bi-layer polyethylene, while its interior is covered in a smooth satin white layer that lets the light bounce and emanate in an eye-catching way.

To contrast the white interior, the exterior is offered in six rich colourways: blue, grey, off-white, pale pink and pale yellow; white is also available for a more unified appearance.

Create monotone groupings in similar heights or mix and match hues and heights for a lively installation.
