For our expanding Ireland studio based in Dublin, Hawkins\Brown is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Project Architect to join our team and work on a variety of new endeavours.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Exhibit excellent design skills and technical expertise across all aspects of a project
- Capable of leading project teams in all aspects of design phases, documentation and possibly construction
- Exhibit excellent graphic design skills and strong communication skills
- Oversee a team to ensure integration of technical information and statutory requirements into project design and drawings
- Demonstrate design sensitivity through all phases of project while coordinating the integration of engineers and technical requirements
- Administer project related information in line with the standards and procedures of the Practice
- Contribute to the development of Hawkins\Brown and our growing international presence
- Promote team goals and ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the team
- Ensure clear and robust dialogue with team members and outside collaborators
Skills and Experience Required
- Excellent design communication skills – written and verbal
- Technical ability to specify and select products
- Strong communication skills with the team, client and others
- Ability to communicate internally with studio leadership and distribute information within project teams
- Empathetic leadership of project teams
- Decision making and an awareness of competing project demands
- Ability to programme a project and deliver on key dates, quality of information and to client’s satisfaction
- Show interest in understanding personal strengths and weaknesses and an ability to request assistance from the wider studio when needed
- An understanding of wider studio requirements and pressures
- Understanding of CAD/BIM and implications on project management
