Peter Mikic Interiors are looking for a Senior FF&E Designer to join its studio in London.

The successful applicant will participate in high-end residential, restaurant, hospitality and marine interior design, working both locally and internationally. A broad knowledge and understanding of design styles to draw upon for different projects is critical.

Responsibilities

• Lead numerous FF&E projects, with the assistance of more junior members of the team
• Deliver a seamless service to our clients while ensuring exceptional communication throughout
• To be the first point of contact for clients and client team as well as project managers and suppliers
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and services to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Respond effectively to complex questions whilst working and switching between various projects
• Preparing mood boards, fabric schemes and presentations
• Sourcing furniture, antiques and art
• Design bespoke furniture including case pieces, upholstery and lighting
• Develop detailed specifications and schedules, along with budgets
• Coordinate the procurement of all FF&E items
• Building strong relationships with clients while ensuring that the firm’s’ values are always upheld
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required

Required Skills and Attributes

• Seven or more years’ post qualification experience with proven previous experience of delivering high-end residential FF&E packages from concept through to completion
• An exceptional eye for detail and colour, as well as a thorough knowledge of antiques
• Highly organised and efficient
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, experience in EstiMac is a plus
• Comfortable and confident working with high profile figures while exercising discretion
• Excellent verbal and written communications are also essential, as you will be liaising between multiple parties, including clients, subcontractors and architects
