Weiss/Manfredi Architecture and Teeple Architects worked with Rieder (through Sound Solutions) to produce the precast glass-fibre reinforced concrete skin that defines the facade of the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus at the University of Toronto. The panels shown here were fabricated in the manufacturer’s Cotton colour, with a discreet terrazzo texture.
Available in a range of dimensions, Rieder’s glass fibre–reinforced concrete skin can be fastened visibly or concealed on a metal substructure as part of a suspended ventilated facade system. Panels boast excellent weather resistance, plus a Class A1 fire rating.
