The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

Bridges II Power Beam

The Bridges II Power Beam is an elevated, freestanding raceway by Global Furniture Group that delivers power and data to a workspace. The series decouples work surfaces from the power structure to provide greater flexibility, supporting a “plug and play” mix of freestanding furniture that can be quickly and easily reconfigured in a variety of settings, from open office environments and student computer labs to touchdown spaces.

Bridges II Power Beam fulfills the need for height-adjustable tables to function as a full workstation solution, delivering a cost-effective alternative to a typical panel-based application. Light in scale, with a more contemporary aesthetic, the series offers greater flexibility and ease of installation compared to full panel systems.

Bridges II Power Beam is available in three heights: The 18″ high beam provides power and clearance for 3-stage height adjustable tables; the 26″ high beam provides below standard desk height; and the 34″ high beam provides power above the standard desk height. Integrated levelling supports mixed floor conditions without impacting the low profile foot.

Beyond the workspace, Bridges II Power Beam helps define community and waiting spaces, providing power to keep people connected and charged. The product supports inline and 90° planning and 120° planning options. Over-panel frames and trim kits extend the height of the beam for added privacy and offer a mix of different materials and finish options including tempered glass, PET Felt, textiles and laminate.
