arklab Design.Build are looking for an Architect with a passion for designing and leading the construction of luxury custom homes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the architectural design process for luxury custom homes, ensuring compliance with client requirements, budgets, and project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with clients, interior designers, engineers, and contractors to develop innovative design solutions that align with the client’s vision and preferences.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications for various project phases, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Conduct thorough site analysis and evaluations to inform design decisions and ensure optimal integration with the surrounding environment.
• Oversee the construction team during the implementation phase, providing technical guidance and ensuring design intent is accurately translated into construction.
• Coordinate with external consultants, such as structural engineers and MEP professionals, to integrate their expertise into the overall design.
• Conduct regular on-site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Stay updated with current design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices in luxury residential construction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on luxury residential construction.
• Strong proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations related to residential projects.
• Excellent understanding of sustainable design principles and ability to incorporate environmentally friendly solutions into projects.
• Proven track record of successfully leading design projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find practical solutions to design challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
• Architectural registration and membership in a professional association are preferred but not required.
