Adam Richards Architects (ARA) is an award-winning creative practice with a wide-ranging portfolio of projects including arts, cultural, heritage, educational and residential schemes.

Experience:

• Qualified and experienced architect to join the practice full-time, working across all stages
• Design-led project running with excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage and/or work in a team
• Skills to delegate and review the work of others
• Commitment to sustainable design and practice
• Experience with coordinating teams on and off-site
• Preparing and submitting planning applications
• Thorough knowledge of technical detailing and specification
• Delivering working drawing/information packages for tender and construction works
• Project scheduling, managing time and resourcing successfully
• Sound knowledge of UK building regulations
• Experience with listed buildings
• Excellent numeracy, written and spoken English

Desired Skills:

• Vectorworks
• NBS specification and contract administration software
• SketchUp
• InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience with sustainable technologies
