Gego: Measuring Infinity

The Guggenheim in New York City presents almost 200 works from German-Venezuelan artist and architect Gego. This chronological exhibition, entitled Gego: Measuring Infinity, showcases Gego’s two and three-dimensional work spanning the 1950s to the 1990s, including sculptures, photographs, textiles, sketches and letters that express organic forms and linear structures. Gego’s work explores the relationship between lines, space and volume, informed by fragility, tensions, transparency and illusions.
