Baird Sampson Neuert Architects (BSN) is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist with strong drafting skills and building construction knowledge to join their studio based practice.
Candidates must have experience producing full working drawings packages for both new-build and retrofit projects, ideally for institutional and public sector clients. Candidates should be able to work both collaboratively and independently, and across several projects and project scales. The position offers growth and leadership potential for the right candidate.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven years professional experience
- Knowledge and demonstrated interest in sustainable design practices
- Strong aptitude for architectural design execution through to construction detailing
- Advanced knowledge of BIM architectural modeling using Revit
- Strong technical knowledge of building construction and details, OBC, and building science
- Effective written and oral communication skills
Duties include:
- Collaboration with design and production teams to produce fully coordinated working drawings
- You will oversee and prepare working drawings for construction, experience with Revit is essential
- Project Management- Capability and experience managing mid-sized projects including coordinating the work of consultants, and effective client communication
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team setting
- Work with external suppliers to coordinate details and stay up to date on product specifications
