EFFEKT is seeking a student Architecture Intern, passionate about creating meaningful design solutions, to join their team in Copenhagen. This Denmark-based firm architecture firm aims to support the professional and personal development of their interns. To do so, they encourage you to ask questions and give feedback, in order to tailor the internship to your learning goals. To further support your learning as Architecture Intern, they host many social activities and education events to share ideas and key learnings from projects in the form of workshops, lectures and team presentations.

Role

• Work closely with experienced teams on both Danish and international projects.
• Help teams address the many challenges that the world holds and gain unique insight into the design process through participation in competitions, sketch proposals and/or design development phases.
• Use highly specialized software and resources for conceptual modelling, graphic tools, 3d printing and visualizations.

Qualifications

• Active student in Architecture, Urbanism or Landscape (minimum of 5 semesters of education completed)
• Fluent in English and/or Danish, oral as well as written (fluency in additional language(s) is also a plus)
• High proficiency in Rhino, V-Ray and Enscape (knowledge in Revit, Grasshopper and AutoCAD are advantageous)
• Strong visual/graphic communication and proficiency in Adobe CS (specifically PS, AI, ID)
• Adept in creative problem-solving, conceptual design, physical model making and 3d-modeling
• Keen attention to detail and able to stay focused in a busy and ad-hoc work environment
• Work efficiently and have a proactive approach to assignments
• Work independently and demonstrate excellent organizational skills
• Proactive, resourceful and highly self-motivated

The internship position is full-time and lasts from August 2024 until January 2025. Dates can be adjusted slightly upon agreement to meet your school’s requirements.
