House of Bohn is seeking an Interior Designer to join their team in Vancouver, Canada. They are looking for an Interior Designer that can work on multiple high-end projects simultaneously (residential, hospitality AND multi-family design). This is a full-time position and only local candidates should apply.

Responsibilities

• Work with the design team to produce innovative, highly creative and bespoke interior design projects
• Support the design team by drafting thorough and detailed construction drawing packages
• Coordinate with external team such as architects, mechanical, electrical and structural engineers
• Source finishes, furniture and FF&E
• Model spaces in Sketchup, InDesign and Photoshop, or other rendering programs
• Work collaborative and independently to achieve project deadlines

Qualifications

• Must be local to Vancouver, BC
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Hold a Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Knowledge of Sketch-Up, Photoshop and InDesign
• Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and millwork packages
• Understanding of BC Building Code
• Familiarity with Hospitality, Retail and Residential Design
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
• Must have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic
