Goguen Architecture is seeking a Senior Architect to join their team in Fredericton. The ideal candidate will support the creation of innovative designs that are functional as well as economical.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Prepare and manage project plans and schedules.
• Oversight and Supervision: Provide technical and administrative oversight on projects, with adherence to best practices and quality.
• Project Meetings: Lead and participate in regular project meetings, ensuring alignment and progress.
• Technical Documentation: Participate in planning and manage the implementation of the production of architectural technical documents, including all drawing packages and the full interdisciplinary coordination of the technical documents.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the timeliness and quality of architectural technical document submissions to clients and other project stakeholders.
• Approval Processes: Manage the preparation of all architectural technical document packages and related submittals for planning, obtaining approvals, and specifications.
• Project Reporting: Participate in the preparation of project reports and status updates as required.

Experience

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years as a licensed Architect.
• Project Experience: Proven experience working on large to medium-scale projects.
• Must be a licensed Architect in New Brunswick or immediately eligible for licensure.
• Software Proficiency: Revit experience is highly desirable.
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, is an asset.
