Arc en rêve and Neringa Forest Architecture (NFA) present Les pièces de la forêt (The Forest Pieces). Presented for Lithuanian Season in France 2024, the exhibition is a playful landscape dedicated to the Landes de Gascogne woodlands. It takes the form of a set of tools and games in wood from private and public pine monocultures.

The Forest Pieces is presented as a mosaic of practices and techniques related to its management and preservation. Drawing on methods from Lithuania’s Children’s Forest Pavilion, the NFA traces the history of Europe’s largest artificial piece of forestry. At the same time, it invites the public to reflect on its future in the face of climate change.
