
Cove presents the first ever AI for Architecture Pitch Off. This global stage for AI-driven innovation aims to encourage future-forward initiatives in architecture and showcase AI-powered solutions for architectural design and workflows. 66% of architect leaders believe AI will be essential to their business within three years, and many teams are looking for opportunities to identify, pilot and test these technologies.
Brief
Architects, designers, technologists, engineers, students, and AI innovators are invited to submit their pitch for how AI can transform architecture and design. Game-changing ideas for the development of AI alongside the architecture field will be offered the opportunity to pitch to a panel of top industry leaders including Bradford J. Prestbo, FAIA and Sam Zolfagharian, Ph.D.. Judging based on innovation & creativity, feasibility & implementation, impact on architecture and overall presentation quality, the most forward-thinking pitch will be the one to demonstrate AI’s potential to reshape the industry.
Competition Guidelines & Rules
Cove’s AI for Architecture Pitch Off asks participants to submit one of the following:
- A concept for AI-driven design, sustainability or construction processes.
- A prototype/proof-of-concept showcasing AI in action.
- An AI-powered workflow enhancement that improves efficiency/decision making.
Basic competition rules are as follows:
- All submissions must be 100% original and created by the entrant/team.
- Submissions must not contain proprietary or sensitive information unless publicly shareable.
- Selected finalists must be available for both Virtual Pitch Recording (April 11, 14, 15) and Live Judging Event (April 17).
- The pitch off is open to individuals/teams of up to 5 members.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Pitches will be accepted from worldwide.
Prizes
The winner/winning team will receive:
- $5000 USD
- The opportunity to present their idea to top industry investors
- A feature in Cove’s industry spotlight
