Designed in collaboration with Adelaide-based architecture firm Sans-Arc Studio, the Super collection of hardware is draws heavily from the Radical Design Movement from the 1960s for inspiration, exploring shape, material and playful geometric abstractions.

The four new additions to the Super collection from Bankston Architectural continue the disruptive design ethos of the originals (Associate, Geppetto and Super Moon), with playful geometric abstractions and unique forms and include: Futurismo DDA lever (with round rose, square rose, rectangular and oval backplates); Futurismo pull (in two sizes, 450 and 600 millimetres); Zzzigurat cupboard knob and Zzzigurat cabinet finger pull.

Engineered for accessibility, the Futurismo lever combines bold geometric lines with a cylindrical rod and sphere, which creates visual symmetry despite an unexpected contrast in proportions. The Futurismo pull, meanwhile, features the precision of 20th-century Futurist design through its elongated cylindrical form and contrasting spherical detail.

The Zzzigurat pieces were inspired by the ancient Mesopotamian ziggurat – the stepped structure that predates the pyramids of Egypt: The Zzzigurat cupboard knob presents the iconic structure on a small scale, while the Zzzigurat cabinet finger pull inverts the striking form, drawing the eye into the recessed detailing.

Five thoughtfully curated finish options are available for all pieces within the Super collection from Bankston Architectural: Champagne PVD, Nero, Neutralis, Polished Chrome and Smooth Nickel.
