Bold and geometric, the new Polychrome and Convene textiles from Designtex are each made using complex weaves that accentuate visual interest beyond their structured graphics. The two multi-coloured woven upholstery patterns add an element of bright and playful eye candy to interior settings.

With Polychrome, a dynamic texture is achieved that offers a compelling kaleidoscopic pattern and strong visual narrative. Used as an accent pattern for a note of vibrancy or on a grander scale, the vibrant pattern pairs beautifully with other textures and materials.

Ideal for use in education environments and other public spaces, Polychrome is made from 100 per cent polyester (post-consumer recycled) with an acrylic backing. Seven colourways are available: Tourmaline, Ammolite, Tiger’s Eye, Turquoise, Quartz, Onyx and Lazurite.

Convene, meanwhile, has a subtle pinstripe pattern in its more obvious geometrics. Mixing different yarns to develop depth of colour and dimension, the Designtex fabric issuitable for both indoor and outdoor public settings.

Offered in six colours that range from neutral to hi-vis – Summer, Fossil, Orbit, Winter, Canal and Gemstone – Convene is made from an acrylic-polyester blend (73 per cent Acrylic Solution Dyed Sunbrella and 27 per cent Polyester Solution Dyed Sunbrella) makes an intriguing companion to other colours and materials.

The geometric motifs of both Polychrome and Convene from Designtex are easy to work with and each can serve as a bridge that unifies design schemes.

Both the Polychrome and Convene textiles from Designtex are high-performing fabrics that are bleach cleanable, low-VOC, contain no antimicrobials, flame retardants, PFAS or PVC and they carry certificates and programs in HPD, LEED, and SCS Indoor Advantage Gold.
